PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) is a nonionic, water-compatible cellulose-derived polymer widely used as a rheology modifier and thickening agent in cosmetic and personal-care formulations.
When properly dispersed and hydrated in water, HEC increases viscosity and helps provide smooth, uniform product consistency. Its nonionic character makes it useful across a broad variety of formulation systems.
HEC can be used in skincare, hair-care and cleansing formulations where viscosity control, texture improvement and formulation stability are required.
